Catherine's Vlog 9/12/14: homemade baby wipes tutorial





This was a fun project to try! I saw the recipe on Pinterest quite some time ago and it peaked my interest. I've already used the wipes to remove makeup and am satisfied overall with the results. I feel like it does a better job of cleaning than most baby wipes I've used. There is one issue I ran into which is having not yet figured out an easy way to take the wipes off of the roll. I may try plain, quilted paper napkins in the future if I can buy them at a bargain price.

homemade wipes recipe:



sliced/halved paper towel roll

2 1/4 cup warm water

1 tablespoon baby oil

2 tablespoons baby wash




Catherine's Vlog 9//1/14: New Prospects





Henceforth, I will be posting my video blogs here on my written blog, in an attempt to streamline my social media outlets. I will also post on twitter, instagram, and pinterest when I upload a new vlog. I have given my vlog a name and have decided to go into it more wholeheartedly by attempting to have others become aware that it exists. Catherine's Vlog is a play on words hailing from the captain's log bit on Star Trek.

vegetarian, vegan, organic, GMO, cleanse, detox, healthy, wellness, fitness, eco, diet, lifestyle, exercise, workout, sugar free, dairy free, fat free, gluten free, cruelty free, natural, holistic, homeopathic, protein, fiber, low sodium, environmentally friendly, green, low carb, processed, portion control, calories, fruits & veggies, energy, clean eating, whole grain...   ahhhhhhh! There, I just needed to get that out. I'm sure there's more too. If I had the time, money, and resources, I'd be all over and on top of this stuff. I sometimes feel like I am just another statistic and like a lazy, excuse-laden person. But with so much information out there it can be SO confusing. I just want to eat bread and meat and cheese because it makes me happy... but it also makes me wrong. As well as, sick, fat and tired! What's a girl to do? I just have to remind myself that the best I can is good enough.
